Hints

This page is designed to give you tips on making the most of your time and efforts for sewing for charity donations. We use simple steps or techniques to get the most out of time and fabric. We are all very busy and "simplifying" can be a big help in creating items for the babies.

Items we make:
Diaper shirts, gowns, sleepers, hats, blankets, sheets, diaper bags, burpcloths, bibs, booties
Selection of fabric:
Flannel is our most favorite fabric. Cotton, cotton blends & cotton knits are next. We try to use colors and prints that are "babyish" as much as possible. We have learned to be very creative in using fabrics that may not be considered babyish...we have made some beautiful diapers bags, quilts, bibs, etc. that way!
