Baby Items

~*~ Volunteers are needed to create basic, essential clothing and blankets for newborn babies in crisis. Our "Angel Network" helps to alleviate concerns that families and caregivers may have, regarding clothing and blankets for babies in crisis. We make items in Preemie and Average Newborn sizes.

~*~ Volunteers can be of any age! We have children learning how to help others, teens earning community service hours, housewives sharing talents, people from the work force getting involved, and senior citizens enjoying spare time in helping babies. We all share many talents such as: Knitting, Sewing, Crocheting, Quilting, Cutting, Packaging, Filing, Collecting, Sorting, Delivering, Crafting...You name it!

~*~ Volunteers lovingly make blankets, afghans, quilts, diaper shirts, gowns, sleepers, booties, hats, diaper bags, washcloths, bibs, burp cloths, toys, etc. at monthly Network Meetings or in the comfort of their own homes.

~*~ Volunteers also make demise layettes for the angel babies that, unfortunately, do not survive. While we feel very sad about the need for these layettes, we know it is very important to help those families touched by these tragedies. We make sure the hospitals can be prepared for these events by having the angel outfits at hand.

~*~ Volunteers look to our communities, friends, families, neighbors, and businesses to help. We also ask for help in collecting the supplies needed to make the baby clothing and blankets.

~*~ ANGELS of LOVE CHARITY, INC. meets once a month at the Olympic Lock & Go Storage, 1656 SW Martin Hwy, Palm City, FL. Please contact us for directions.

~*~ We meet the second Saturday of each month. We have special events throughout the year. These events will be posted on the website calendar page. Click on the links for these pages.

~*~ Volunteers come to share their talents to create basic, essential clothing and bedding items for newborn babies in crisis.

~*~ Our "Angel Network" Meetings are fun, informative, and creative.

~*~ Volunteers also enjoy making the needed items in the comfort of their own homes. They can either deliver them to drop off locations or mail them to ALC. We have volunteers all over the state of FL.

~*~ All items are donated to hospitals and agencies that serve those families in crisis situations and disperse them, free of charge, for the babies.

~*~ Volunteers can sign out supplies they need to make items. They can also pick up pre-cut items to be sewn.

~*~ Local volunteers that cannot attend meetings can also drop off finished items and/or pick up supplies they need.
